Tender Touch is proud to host and co-host a variety of events at our locations (Medical Support Services and We Rock the Spectrum) and across Southeastern Wisconsin.

We’re passionate about advocacy–it’s a core part of our mission. We strive to keep our employees, as well as patients and families, involved in our neurodiverse community and advocacy efforts.

Tri My Best Triathlon

The 8th annual Tri My Best Triathlon – Kenosha will be held on August 7th, 2022! This is an event for children and young adults (ages 5 and up) with developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, etc.

**ALL athletes of ALL ability levels are welcome to participate!**

We use flotation devices, adapted bikes, walkers, power wheelchairs, and other assistive devices to empower our athletes and bring awareness of every person’s abilities, no matter their handicaps.

History

The Tri My Best Triathlon was started in Kenosha in 2014 by Tender Touch’s founder, Linda Niemela, and our Rehabilitation Director at the time, Emily Kron.

Participants come from all over southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Some even travel from as far as North Dakota!
