      • Tri My Best Triathlon – Kenosha

        The Tri My Best Triathlon – Kenosha serves children and young adults (ages 5 and up) with developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, etc. 

        ALL athletes of ALL ability levels are welcome to participate! We use flotation devices, adapted bikes, walkers, power wheelchairs, and other assistive devices to empower our athletes and bring awareness of every person’s abilities, no matter their handicaps.

We are a...

Service and advocacy agency committed to neurodivergent and developmental support, well-being, and inclusion. We provide therapy, experiential/event, and growth opportunities for kids, families, and our communities. We also employ exceptional people who are caring and creative in their work.

Our committed Tender Touch employees create positive, experiential growth for individuals and families at our therapy locations at Medical Support Services and beyond.

Day in and day out, team Tender Touch lives our values of advocacy, creativity, well-being, and teamwork.

Our Values

Advocacy

We support children, young adults, and their families in therapeutic settings as well as in their everyday lives. We strive to nurture both happiness and growth that carries over into both home and community. We act and speak as advocates through medical and community relationships as we share in our patients (and their family's!) dreams and goals.

Creativity

We live boundless creativity when it comes to treatment–we believe in connecting with each unique child and young adult in ways that will truly meet and engage them to develop. Creativity strengthens their connection to forward progress and successful accomplishments.

Well-Being

We strive to model and live well-being, and to incorporate wellness and balance into our patients' lives as we support and encourage their development into healthy, young adults.

Teamwork

We're all on the same team–the Tender Touch team! We believe in teamwork... with each other, and with the community and partner heath care providers. We value communication and collaboration, and use these tools to create truly collaborative heath care, making decisions as a motivated team working towards a common goal.

1999

Tender Touch Therapy Is Born

At this time, a few therapists are providing Physical and Occupational Therapy in- home care to children discharged from Birth to Three services.

April 2006

First Brick and Mortar Location

Tender Touch had its first brick and mortar clinic to see patients out of. 

August 2015

First Tri My Best Triathlon

Tender Touch partners with the Kenosha YMCA to host Kenosha’s very first Tri My Best Triathlon

Tender Touch Therapy Acquires Medical Support Services

Tender Touch Therapy acquires Medical Support Services therapy clinics and doubles active patients and employees.

Our Kenosha Location Moves

Our Kenosha location moves to a newly renovated building, the historical UAW local 72 building at 3615 Washington Road, Kenosha.

We Rock the Spectrum - Eagan

Opened on January 25, 2025, We Rock the Spectrum – Eagan was created by the mother–daughter duo Linda and Meaghan, who brought their passion for inclusive play to the Twin Cities community. Their gym offers a safe, supportive environment where children of all abilities can develop play skills, build confidence, and explore sensory-rich activities using our signature equipment.

We Rock the Spectrum - Woodbury

On September 7, 2025, we expanded again by taking over the We Rock the Spectrum – Woodbury location from its previous owners, who stepped away due to family commitments. We are proud to continue serving the Woodbury community by maintaining the same welcoming, inclusive space families love—while strengthening our mission to provide safe, sensory-friendly play opportunities for all children.

Locations

Tender Touch now operates multiple locations across Wisconsin and Minnesota. Our therapy clinics, Medical Support Services, are located in Oak Creek, Kenosha, and Mount Pleasant in Southeastern Wisconsin. In addition, we own and operate several We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gyms, including our original Milwaukee location next to the Oak Creek clinic, as well as our newest gyms in Eagan and Woodbury, Minnesota.
